Begin with the component and define the purpose of the core within the sandwich construction. State the target geometry, thickness, laminate context and relevant project requirements. The applicable PMI grade, mechanical data, temperature context and any programme criteria must be confirmed from controlled documentation rather than inferred from a sector label.
