Start with the engineering decision
Use the requested series and named grade as one input. The reference table supports screening, but it does not establish universal tolerance, feature feasibility, workholding approach, toolpath or final acceptance. The drawing and project requirements remain the controlling manufacturing context.
Translate the component into a controlled core brief
Review the model for overall envelope, thin regions, pockets, holes, radii, edge details, cosmetic surfaces, datums and bond interfaces. These features determine access, handling and inspection questions that cannot be extracted from a series-level material table.
Connect the material question to the process route
Submit the controlling revision, file hierarchy, series or grade request, quantity, critical dimensions, surface requirements and intended downstream process. CNC, packing and handoff are then scoped around the actual part rather than a generic material claim.
