Room-temperature compression: 1.14 MPa at 50.92 kg/m³ and 1.18 MPa at 52.17 kg/m³. 130°C, 30-minute compression: 0.76 MPa at 49.23 kg/m³. Each is a single-test sample result—not a guaranteed product specification.

XK52 thermal and tensile sample context

Room-temperature tensile sample: 1.99 MPa strength, 74.70 MPa modulus and 3.36% elongation at 56.27 kg/m³. At 130°C×3 h, a sample recorded 0.26% length, 0.29% width and 0.34% thickness change.

Grade name, density, process conditions, thickness, core form and component requirements must therefore remain attached to every technical discussion.

Keep room-temperature and elevated-temperature data separate

Compression, tensile and shear values answer different material questions. In particular, the 130°C compression fields in the TDS are not interchangeable with room-temperature compression data. A buyer should request the applicable current datasheet and state the actual temperature, dwell, pressure or vacuum context before using the values in a project decision.

Read XK52 test reports as samples, not product guarantees

The audited XK52 reports provide transparent example data: room-temperature compression samples recorded 1.14 MPa at 50.92 kg/m3 and 1.18 MPa at 52.17 kg/m3; a 130°C, 30-minute sample recorded 0.76 MPa at 49.23 kg/m3. The disclosed room-temperature tensile sample recorded 1.99 MPa tensile strength, 74.70 MPa tensile modulus and 3.36% elongation at 56.27 kg/m3. Each is a single-test sample result under its stated condition, not a guaranteed range.

A density-class and property table cannot define a complete sandwich structure. Submit the component, thickness, core form, CAD or drawing, laminate and process route, temperature context, quality expectation and the decision that requires confirmation.
