Ask for evidence that applies to the proposed grade
Start with the selected or candidate grade, current technical-data request and any property or process conditions that matter to the project. A supplier discussion is stronger when it distinguishes typical TDS values, single-test sample data and project acceptance criteria. Do not accept a generic web value as a replacement for grade-specific documentation.
Check whether the supplier can read the actual core requirement
The component drawing, core form, thickness, machining features and downstream composite process show whether a supplier can scope more than a material name. CAD review, file hierarchy, inspection references, packaging and feature protection all affect the quality of the prepared-core handoff.
Keep commercial and technical review connected
Quantity, delivery destination, documentation expectations, packing and contact path should be stated with the technical brief. This produces a traceable request instead of a vague comparison of price or capability claims.
