Separate material cost from prepared-component scope
A price request can refer to a sheet, block, pre-cut blank or a finished CNC-prepared core. Those are different scopes. The proposed grade, density direction, thickness, dimensions, nesting, machining complexity, inspection and packing requirements affect how an enquiry should be evaluated. A general price statement without that scope is unlikely to be useful for procurement.
Keep commercial questions tied to technical inputs
Quantity context, destination, documentation needs, core geometry and process handoff should be supplied with the material request. The correct answer to questions about price, MOQ, stock or lead time is project-specific confirmation; these commercial conditions should not be inferred from a generic website article.
Create a quote-ready data package
Provide the component, selected or candidate grade, core form, controlled drawing, dimensions, material or process questions, quantity and delivery context. This gives the technical team a basis to identify what must be confirmed before a commercial response is made.
